Victoria University Staff Strike Action

Victoria University staff will consider re-starting their industrial action campaign next Monday and Tuesday at union members meetings.

The senior management continues to treat staff with disrespect by prolonging collective agreement negotiations. They are refusing to consider proposed reforms to the workloads model and to the union’s job security claims.

VU staff continue to face forced redundancies, despite likely increased Federal funding this year and a detailed proposal from the union on how to avoid job losses.

NTEU members will be meeting to consider further rounds of industrial action.
