I am writing to express my opposition to the job cuts, campus closures and course phase-outs in 2009.
As a student at Victoria University, I am extremely concerned at the impact that these changes will have on me. I am also unhappy that these changes were made without extensive consultation with students, staff and the community.
Had I known that Victoria University was planning on such serious and devestating cut-backs, I may have chosen not to enrol at VU. I was under the impression that VU cared about the West and about its students, but recent events seems to indicate that this is not the case.
