Staff vote for full-day strike on Monday 15 DecemberAt the stop-work meeting on Monday 8 December, over 250 union members voted unanimously to hold a full-day strike on Monday 15 December.
Staff have been negotiating for a new union collective agreement at Victoria University for months. They have been stone-walled and unduly delayed by the University senior management, and strike action is the last resort to get the University to see sense.
24 hour strike action will commence at 12am on Monday 15 December.
